Chameleon Ring creates. If an item does not already have a handle, loop, or opening, Chameleon Ring can create an attachment point for your Trail Tether.

Do I need a Chameleon Ring for every Trail Tether?

No.

If an item already has a secure handle, loop, opening, or other compatible attachment point, you can normally connect the Trail Tether directly.

Chameleon Ring is useful when there is nowhere convenient to tether — such as on smooth bottles, cups, speakers, rolled towels, and other awkwardly shaped items.

Which Tether Max size is best for my stroller?

The 1 ft Tether Max is our preferred size for most single strollers and compact family setups.

The 3 ft Tether Max provides more length for double strollers and larger setups.

That is why the Active Family bundle includes a 1 ft Tether Max, while the Complete Family bundle includes both a 1 ft and a 3 ft Tether Max.

Can I use the products separately?

Absolutely.

Every Trail Tether product is designed to be useful on its own. The system simply gives you more ways to combine them when your setup calls for it.

Use a Trail Tether by itself for a pacifier, toy, keys, or bottle. Add a Chameleon Ring when you need to create an attachment point. Add Tether Max when you want to organize multiple lightweight items in one larger setup.

We thought dropped pacifiers were just part of having kids.

Our son was constantly pulling his binky off our hiking carrier, and toys handed to him in the stroller could be overboard within minutes.

Traditional pacifier clips simply weren’t designed for padded handles, stroller straps, hiking carriers, or the way active families actually move.
