Chameleon Rings let you attach to bottles, cups, and other smooth or awkwardly shaped items that do not already have a convenient place to tether. The included aluminum carabiners add even more flexibility for bags, straps, and everyday gear.

With three of each, you can leave setups where you actually use them instead of constantly moving the same accessories from place to place.

FAQ

Which Trail Tether bundle should I choose?

Choose your bundle based on how many places you want to keep Trail Tether gear ready to use.

Essentials is our starter setup for everyday family gear, bottles, toys, keys, bags, and basic stroller use.

Active Family is built around a single stroller and gives you enough gear to organize the stroller, diaper bag, bottles, and everyday family essentials.

Complete Family is designed for families who want to outfit multiple strollers, bags, travel gear, and adventure setups without constantly moving accessories around.

What is the difference between Essentials, Active Family, and Complete Family?

Each bundle builds on the same Trail Tether system but gives you more products and more places to keep them in use.

Essentials includes:

  • 3 Trail Tethers
  • 2 Chameleon Rings
  • 2 Aluminum Carabiners

Active Family includes:

  • 5 Trail Tethers
  • 3 Chameleon Rings
  • 3 Aluminum Carabiners
  • 1 × 1 ft Tether Max

Complete Family includes:

  • 10 Trail Tethers
  • 5 Chameleon Rings
  • 5 Aluminum Carabiners
  • 1 × 1 ft Tether Max
  • 1 × 3 ft Tether Max
Why would I need multiple Trail Tethers?

Because Trail Tether becomes more useful when you can leave one where you actually use it.

Keep them on the stroller, diaper bag, hiking carrier, keys, bottles, backpacks, travel gear, or other compatible setups instead of constantly moving one Trail Tether from place to place.

That makes it easier to grab your gear and go — whether you're heading out with the stroller, going hiking, traveling, or packing for a weekend adventure.

How do the products in the bundle work together?

The system is designed around three simple jobs.

Trail Tether connects. Use it to secure pacifiers, toys, bottles, keys, bags, and other lightweight essentials directly to compatible gear.

Chameleon Ring creates. If an item does not already have a handle, loop, or opening, Chameleon Ring can create an attachment point for your Trail Tether.

Tether Max organizes. It creates a flexible gear rail for managing multiple lightweight items across strollers and larger everyday or adventure setups.

Do I need a Chameleon Ring for every Trail Tether?

No.

If an item already has a secure handle, loop, opening, or other compatible attachment point, you can normally connect the Trail Tether directly.

Chameleon Ring is useful when there is nowhere convenient to tether — such as on smooth bottles, cups, speakers, rolled towels, and other awkwardly shaped items.

Which Tether Max size is best for my stroller?

The 1 ft Tether Max is our preferred size for most single strollers and compact family setups.

The 3 ft Tether Max provides more length for double strollers and larger setups.

That is why the Active Family bundle includes a 1 ft Tether Max, while the Complete Family bundle includes both a 1 ft and a 3 ft Tether Max.

Can I use the products separately?

Absolutely.

Every Trail Tether product is designed to be useful on its own. The system simply gives you more ways to combine them when your setup calls for it.

Use a Trail Tether by itself for a pacifier, toy, keys, or bottle. Add a Chameleon Ring when you need to create an attachment point. Add Tether Max when you want to organize multiple lightweight items in one larger setup.

Are the bundles only useful for babies and young kids?

Not even close.

The same rugged, adaptable design that makes Trail Tether useful for pacifiers, toys, bottles, strollers, and child carriers also makes the system useful for keys, water bottles, bags, travel gear, camping, hiking, boating, fitness, beach days, and everyday carry.

Family gear when you need it. Everyday and adventure gear when you don't.

Can I add more Trail Tether products later?

Yes. The system is designed to grow with the way your family uses it.

Start with the bundle that fits your life today, then add individual Trail Tethers, Chameleon Rings, carabiners, or Tether Max straps as you discover where you want additional attachment points and dedicated setups.

Why buy a bundle instead of individual products?

Bundles make it easier to outfit more of the places where your family actually uses the system while saving compared with purchasing the included products individually.

Instead of relying on one Trail Tether and moving it between the stroller, diaper bag, hiking carrier, bottle, keys, and travel gear, you can keep the products where you need them and have your setup ready to go.

The larger bundles also add more of the Trail Tether system, giving you additional ways to connect, create attachment points, and organize your gear.

Most juvenile products are designed for a single phase of life and a single use. We think great gear should do more, which is why we design gear that’s still useful after your kids are older.

It started with us building a pacifier clip that could double as a gear strap for EDC and light adventure.

We carry this same philosophy into the rest of our product ecosystem — designing thoughtful, high quality, premium products that are useful for all phases of family life, in every environment.

Trail Tether products will keep working as your family grows — at the playground, on the trail, at the beach, on the road and everywhere in between.

Our Double-Your-Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a lifetime replacement warranty on our products because they are over-engineered.

How over-engineered are they?

We used our Trail Tethers to tow a Ford F150 pickup truck.

If it can hold a truck, it can hold a toy or binky, or camping gear no sweat.

That is why if any toy, pacifier, or gear secured to a Trail Tether ever falls off....you get double your money back.

You have my signature on it.

Why we started Trail Tether

We thought dropped pacifiers were just part of having kids.

Our son was constantly pulling his binky off our hiking carrier, and toys handed to him in the stroller could be overboard within minutes.

Traditional pacifier clips simply weren’t designed for padded handles, stroller straps, hiking carriers, or the way active families actually move.

So we built something different.

Trail Tether started as a stronger, more versatile way to keep pacifiers and toys attached. But once we started taking it everywhere, we realized the same rugged design that worked so well for kid gear made an incredibly useful everyday and adventure tool.

That idea became the foundation for the Trail Tether system—adaptable products designed to help families secure, carry, organize, and connect the things they bring with them.

From pacifiers, bottles, toys, diaper bags, and stroller gear to everyday carry, travel, camping, and adventure equipment, our products are designed to keep finding new jobs as family life changes.

Our goal is simple:
Make family gear you don’t have to outgrow.
